A new event is approaching with new cosmetic items, a new game mode and the return of a way of playing that many missed. Let’s find out what the Urban Assault collection event is like, the skins we can get, the first look at the Apex Contest game mode, the return of ‘Three Attacks’ and the date when all this arrives in April 2024 Apex Legends.
As is tradition, let’s start by seeing the event trailer with Spanish subtitles. It is narrated by Newcastle and Wraith.
The event will be available between Tuesday, April 23 and Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
Game modes
The main novelty of the Urban Assault collection event is the premiere of the game mode Continuation of the Apex (Gresca Apex in other regions) in Apex Legends.
This is a form of tournament in which we earn points by position, eliminations, assists and damage to move up a standings table that we will share with players of similar abilities to ours. Once the event ends, prizes will be awarded according to position.
In its debut, the Apex contest will ask us to participate in games of the ‘Three Attacks’ game mode alone.
For those who haven’t played it, Three Attacks It is a game mode Apex Legends in which we have faster revives with all the equipment we had and three chances to lose the entire squad.
Skins and cosmetics of the event
As in other collection events, we can get up to 24 cosmetic items, including legendary skins for Wraith and Loba. They can be obtained with Apex Coins, Crafting Metals and can be released in Apex Packs on sale during the event.
If we get them all, we will unlock the Octane Prestige skin, “Apex Countercurrent”, skydiving trail and an execution.
We can get even more cosmetic items and another skin in the rewards registry for the April 2024 Urban Assault collection event in Apex Legends. We can earn points by completing daily challenges to level up in this pass and thus obtain all its content.
Of course, there will also be new products in store during the event.
