A few months ago, Ubisoft presented a roadmap for the great ‘metroidvania’ released in early 2024 which would add new activities and cosmetic items. In March we received new game modes and costumes, but there is already a new free update for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown which allows us to play revenge against defeated bosses, participate in the desired ‘Boss Rush’ mode and dress Sargon with two new suits, all without paying anything else.

Now let’s look at the news one by one:
- Revenge of the bosses: We can talk to Artaban in the shelter to discover a new option that allows us to face again any boss we have already defeated on any difficulty. The best times we achieve in each battle will be recorded.
- Avalanche of bosses (‘Boss Rush’): Once we have completed the game, we can talk to Artaban in the shelter to face all the bosses again in order one after another, although we can change our equipment between fights.
The two new costumes added with this free update Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown They can be unlocked by completing the Boss Rush mode.. One of them is inspired by the game Prince of Persia for PS3 and Xbox 360 released in 2008. The other one is a gift for all of us who think Sargon is very sexy.
Wait! There is more! One of the complaints we had against this game was the lack of teleport points. Now we’ll find a way to use the Soma trees as transport points as well.
This is not the last content pack that this game will receive. In the third quarter of the year they will add new combat challenges, puzzles and platforms as well as new amulets and costumes. A paid DLC with a new story will also arrive at the end of the year.
