Call of Duty: Warzone’s Krampus has been ‘nerfed’

Call, Duty, Krampus, nerfed, Warzones

One of the most curious additions to the Festive Fervor event of Call of Duty: Warzone Y Vanguard It was the Krampus. The legendary creature from the Christmas tales of the Alps appears in games to attack those who are supposedly “not helping the team.” However, players weren’t happy with this new mechanic.

As discussed in forums and networks, as in this Reddit post, Krampus’ appearances were ruining the game for teams that were about to win, especially in Warzone. This turned into a small controversy that accompanied other more serious ones like Workplace Harassment and Abuse Cases at Activision Blizzard, layoffs at Raven Software and the problems that affect the game after the arrival of the Caldera map.

Raven Software complied with player complaints. Through a post on Twitter he announced that Krampus has been ‘nerfed’ in Call of Duty: Warzone. The changes are as follows:

  • Krampus’ health has been significantly reduced in all game modes and for all squad sizes.
  • Krampus will not appear after the appearance of the fourth circle.

We hope these changes will allow players to enjoy games more without fearing too much of an appearance by this “Satanic Santa.” At the moment it has not been reported if Krampus will also be ‘nerfed’ in Vanguard same as in Warzone.
