A new update will arrive on the afternoon of November 5th. Apex Legends called ‘From the Rift’, which brings many expected new features — such as design changes to Lifeline — and a certain element is back for fans to enjoy: the original Royale mode for the nostalgic.

Let’s see what all the changes are, but first take a look at the new trailer.

Original Royale Mode

This “new mode” for time is a celebration of Apex Legends just as it was when it was released in 2019. That means that we will only be able to play it with the old weapons, legends and only on the original map.

In this mode we can also complete original Royale challenges to unlock legends, Apex packs and more.

Changes to Lifeline and Support Class

The healer par excellence has a new kit that allows her to be more mobile and aggressive.

  • PASSIVE: COMBAT FLIGHT – Hold JUMP in mid-air to use DOC to glide briefly. Deploy a DOC that revives team members, leaving Lifeline free to defend.
  • TACTICAL SKILL: DOC HEALING DRONE – DOC heals nearby allies. DOC can be assigned to follow allies once deployed.
  • ULTIMATE SKILL: DOC HALO – Throw a DOC to activate Halo’s shield system. All players inside use health and shield consumables faster.
In November 2024, the From the Rift update arrived in Apex Legends with new features such as changes to Lifeline and the Original Royale mode.

Regarding the support class, it will receive two new advantages: Healing Specialist and Resuscitation Specialist

  • Healing Specialist: Support legends now move at full speed while walking while healing. The healing amount of small medicines is doubled
  • Resuscitation specialist: Support Legends now have 25% faster revives (4.5 seconds) and regenerate their ally’s health on a successful revive. This health regeneration will restore an ally to full health, but can be canceled by incoming damage. Picking up banners will automatically take a mobile respawn transmitter in an allied kill box if possible.
