It has been more than half a year (where does the time go?) Since Cyberpunk 2077 was removed by Sony from the PlayStation Store digital store for PS4 and PS5. This happened due to the multiple criticisms that these versions of the game received for their poor performance and amount of ‘bugs’, which led hundreds of players to request a refund of their purchases.
Now, after multiple updates, CD Projekt Red and Sony finally agree that Cyberpunk 2077 is ready for the public and We can already find it for sale in PlayStation Store, both for PS4 and for PS5.
The official CD Projekt Red statement that revealed this news, adds that an update “for the next generation” will be available free to all owners of the PS4 version of the game in the second half of 2021.
But not all the news is good. In the same text clarify that users may continue to experience performance issues when playing on PS4 and recommend playing the versions for PS4 Pro and PS5 to better enjoy the experience with Cyberpunk 2077.
We are happy that the game is available again, but the situation is still far from optimal. CDPR really ruined the launch of this title and lost the trust of millions of gamers. That didn’t stop Cyberpunk 2077 was a bestseller.
