When is version 5.3 released? Genshin Impact?
It is confirmed that the date of the update patch to version 5.3 of Genshin Impact it will be on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm (Colombia, Peru and Ecuador time) of that same day.

New gachapones
Phase 1 of version 5.3 Genshin Impact will start with the gachapon Water —You can see our guide to this character here—and with that of Citlalí. Here is her guide too.
Phase 2 will be starred by Harlequin, Clorinde and we will also have the new four-star character Lan Yan ready for the celebration of the Liyue Lantern Festival. We also have a guide for her.
We know that many were waiting for the return of Shenhebut although we will not have its banner as such, in version 5.3 of Genshin Impact we will have a compilation gachapón in which we can get the five-star characters of Liyue.
New weapons
Along with the Mavuika and Ctitlalí banners we will also have their representative weapons in the weapons gachapón. They are the greatsword of 5★ A thousand burning suns y Star Watchera 5★ catalyst.
These two new weapons will be available during phase 1 of gachapones of version 5.3 of Genshin Impact in its corresponding gachapon.
New bosses
One of the new bosses in this version will be the Hermit who lives in a cave near the village of the Nightwind Augurs that is related to the third act of the tribal anecdotes of that tribe.
The other boss is directly related to the Archon quest and will be the new weekly boss. This dragon of the abyss is the Corroded Primal Firelord.
New locker rooms
During the celebration of the Lantern Rite Festival 2025 we will receive two new costumes or costumes: one for Xiangling and another for Hu Tao.
Hu Tao's new dressing room is called Snowy Cherry and will be on sale in the Paimon Store. For its part, Xiangling's new suit or wardrobe will be Festive Revelry and can be obtained for free during the Lantern Rite event by meeting certain requirements. New missions and events
After finishing the archon mission of the version we will be able to participate in Mavuika's Legendary Mission: 'Sol Invictus'. On December 23, an animated short starring the Archon Pyro will also be released in which we will learn more about her past.

- Fierce creatures and giant beasts– A combat challenge with a new special difficulty level, especially difficult.

Lantern Rite Festival 2025
Regarding the Lantern Ritethere will be a special event featuring Hu Tao, Zhongli, Yun Jin, Xianling, and new character Lan Yan. In this event we can get the new suit for Xiangling for free collecting enough festive fever by completing the special activities in Liyue.
As always, we can also choose a four-star Liyue character for free by progressing in the festival activities.
The activities or game modes of the Lantern Rite Festival 2025 in Genshin Impact will be:
- Brawl of the eight adepts: It is a puzzle type game Pon Panel that can be enjoyed in multiplayer.
- Training under the flashlights: A points battle challenge could not be missing.
