- Buyers can take a maximum of 3 units per product or gender, taking advantage of the benefits of the day without VAT. For example: 3 units of cell phones, 3 units of televisions and 3 units of computers. Additional units and transactions will be charged with VAT.

What technology devices for ‘gamers’ already had VAT exclusion?
In Colombia, some computers and cell phones —among which are the ones most sought after by gamers— were already excluded from paying the Value Added Tax by some laws. Next, you can see the prices of cell phones and laptops that will not have a significant discount on the day without VAT in Colombia:
- Laptops under $1,900,200 pesos (retail price)
- Cell phones and tablets below $836,088 pesos (retail price)
Which stores participate in the day without VAT in December?
To access the discounts of the day without VAT in Colombia, they should only make purchases as a natural person in legally constituted stores, which have “electronic invoicing” enabled and have taken advantage of this measure.
