During the recent reveal of multiplayer modes and the next open beta of Call of Duty: Vanguard, the Raven Software studio took the opportunity to reveal the first details about the new map of Call of Duty: Warzone, located on an island in the Pacific Ocean.
This map will be visually very different from what we are used to with Verdansk. Instead of a territory devastated by war, we will have a vibrant scene full of beautiful natural areas. It will also have many secrets to reveal. It is to be expected that it has something to do with WWII, given its link to Vanguard
This new map will be roughly the same size as Verdansk.
Raven Software also took the opportunity to explain that Vanguard will integrate with Warzone similar to the one they did Modern Warfare and Black Ops: Cold War. They also revealed that they did not work alone on this map. They had the help of the other Activision studios: Sledgehammer Games, Beenox, High Moon Studios and Toys for Bob.
When will the new map of the Pacific come to Call of Duty: Warzone?
This new content is coming to the game before the end of 2021. The map will arrive along with a new anti-cheat system for PC.
