Arrowhead Game Studios did not expect the tremendous success that their game was going to have and they were definitely not prepared. During its first weeks live, there have been so many players trying to join games that the servers have not been able to handle it and that has caused difficulty in playing. The developers are working on it. They have already increased the limit of players allowed on the servers or ‘server cap’ of Helldivers 2although they themselves believe that this will not solve all the problems.
On the night of Thursday, February 22, Johan Pilestedt – director of the game – reported that increased the maximum number of players allowed on the servers or ‘server cap’ of Helldivers 2 a 700.000. But due to the success of the game he says he hopes that number will be reached. Still, it should make waiting lines much more tolerable.
This is not the only improvement that the game had. According patch notesthe now available update to version 1.000.12 of Helldivers 2 Fixed several issues, including players getting stuck in cutscenes or video sequences and the dreaded error code 10003001 on PS5.
We’re glad to hear that Arrowhead Game Studios is working hard to fix the game’s issues. We hope that very soon these inconveniences will be part of the past and we can all play without worries.
