The announcement came via a special video in which they talk about all the new features that will be included with the ‘Escalation of Freedom’ update. You can watch it below, but it does not have Spanish subtitles.
In this video, CCO Johan Pilestedt, Design Director Niklas Malmborg, and other members of the studio talk about all the new features that will be included in the ‘Freedom Escalation’ update that will be released in August and will add the new difficulty level 10 to the game. Helldivers 2

When is the ‘Freedom Escalation’ update coming out?
According to Arrowhead, the release date of the next update that will make Helldivers 2 more difficult thanks to the difficulty level 10 will be the Tuesday, August 6, 2024. It will be available simultaneously on PS5 and PC.
