What kind of game will it be?
Star Wars Outlaws It is described as an “open world action-adventure” game. Thanks to the trailers we know that it is a third-person title with shooting, stealth, and exploration. We will have multiple dialogue options when talking to other characters, but we don’t know if this will have any influence on the story.
We also saw that we will be able to drive a ship within the planets and in space, as well as participate in battles while controlling it.
We know that we will be able to visit several planets and we wonder what freedom we will have to go from one to another. We don’t know if each one will be an open world or if it will be like in Star Wars Jedi: Survivorin which some were open and others were more linear.
What is the story of the game Star Wars Outlaws?
This game puts us in control of Kay Vess, a thief and smuggler who works for various criminal syndicates such as the Pyke, Hutts and the Ashiga Clan at the time of the civil war between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance.
When her actions come to the attention of the Empire, Kay becomes one of the most wanted people in the Stormtrooper army. In order to escape and win her freedom, she must pull off the greatest robbery ever done in the Galaxy.
In which part of the continuity of Star Wars does the game take place?
Outlaws is carried out between the end of Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (year 3 ABY) and the beginning of the Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (year 4 ABYA).
Characters of Star Wars Outlaws
The protagonist of the game is the thief and smuggler Kay Vess. We don’t know much about her story, but we do know that she is played by Canadian-Venezuelan actress Humberly González.
His companion is the adorable Nixa Merqaal —a species inspired by an axolotl— that helps him in combat and exploration by distracting enemies and activating machinery.
In his mission he is joined ND-5. This is a BX commando droid used during the clone wars era by the Separatists.
Kyle Katarn is in Star Wars Outlaws?
This is a rumor that arose in the circles of fans of the saga after the revelation of the trailers. It’s all due to the appearance of a character with a color scheme and a shoulder pad similar to the one worn by the legendary protagonist of the classic video games of Star Wars.
Of course, there is no confirmation that this character is actually Kyle Katarn. We will have to wait to see more of the game or its release to confirm if he is actually the protagonist of the games or not. Dark Forces y Jedi Knight.
