This quest can only be completed in Battle Royale or Zero Construction.
The first thing we have to do is survive until the loot island appears at a random point on the map. During the Metallica event, his appearance occurs from a crack with the iconic ‘M’ of the band’s name.
Once it appears, we climb to the island using a crack, access ropes or other means and look for the entrance to a cave under Metallica’s floating stage. This is located under a sign that says “Gutbomb’s Tasteland.”
Once inside the cave, we look for a sofa in front of a graffiti that will thrill fans of the band. Just by getting closer we will complete the Metallica’s secret mission in Fortnite: “Visit a monument.”
The reward for completing this mission is 10,000 Experience Points.
This is a tribute to Cliff Burton, Metallica’s first bassist between 1981 and 1986, when he died in a tragic car accident. He was considered a virtuoso and one of the greatest bassists of all time.
The image of the cuffs with the skull rings is a reference to an iconic photo of him. The “Cliff ’em all” message that we see in the secret mission of Fortnite It’s a reference Kill em’ allthe first studio album by Metallica.
“Cliff ’em all” is also the name of a compilation of music videos and concerts of the band in which the legendary bassist participated. It was released on VHS and years later on DVD in tribute to him.
