How to get all the endings

There are two ways in which Yi's revenge can end and the fate of both the Solarians and the primates depends on it. In this guide we are going to explain what you must do to get all the endings of Nine Sols: The good (or true) ending “Shooting Star” and the normal ending “Home Sweet Home.” We are going to try to avoid spoilers as much as possible.

All endings Nine Sols

As we already said, this game has two endings. The normal ending will always be available, but if we want to get what is considered the best ending of the game—true ending for some—we have to meet three requirements before reaching the point of no return. Let's see what they consist of:

How to get the good ending 'Shooting Star'

To get the best ending or true ending of Nine Sols we have to first complete the following tasks:

• Reach a high level of friendship with Shuanshuan
• Have Shennong become the village leader
• Finding the Rhizomatic Bomb

Reach a high level of friendship with Shuanshuan (achievement/trophy: Deep Bonds)

We have to deliver to Shuanshuan at least 15 of the 17 Solarian objects that we can find on the game map. We will know when we achieve the objective because we will unlock the Deep Ties achievement or trophy.

Make Shennong become the village leader (achievement/trophy: Passing the Torch)

After advancing enough in the plot of Nine Sols (usually after escaping from Jiequan Prison) and if we have delivered enough poisons to Shennong (See in this guide the location of all of them), this will ask us to help the villagers and will give us the Access badge to the abandoned mines so that we can return to the village crossing from the mines to the underground Cave and then to the Livestock Harvesting Platform.

There we will have to fight a boss. If we defeat him, we can advance towards the Galactic Dock and talk to the Shamanwhich will give us another of the poisons.

After this, we continue advancing in the story until we give Shennong all the 15 poisons in total (again, we recommend using this guide to find them all). When we return to the Pavilion they will give us the mission of going to rescue the primates in Galactic Dock. This dangerous weapon is found in Lear's Tomb, a hidden area of ​​the Scripture Cave (West). To enter there, we have to first find the Secret Murals that are in the tombs of the other three Taoist sages. The first two are found in the Scripture Cave (East) and the third in (West)

How to get the normal ending 'Home Sweet Home'

This is the default ending that we get after defeating the final boss if We did not give enough items to Shuanshuan, we did not help Shennong become the leader of the village or we did not find the rhizomatic bomb.

But even if we meet the three requirements to get the good ending of Nine Sols that we gave you in this guide, there is a way to get the normal ending. After pass the zone of no return, escape from Tiandao Research Institute and return to the destroyed Four Seasons Pavilion, we speak with Kuafu and we have to make the decision on which the ending depends.

To get the normal ending we have to choose the second option: “No, now that I think about it, the Solarians are a more pressing problem.”.

If we choose that option or if we do not meet the three requirements of the other ending, we can continue the game to face a simpler (but still difficult) version of the final boss. When we defeat her, we will see the chosen ending.
