At the end of 2021, to celebrate the excellent Netflix series based on the game League of LegendsEpic Games and Riot Games allied to take Fortnite A Jinx Skin And a few months later they added The attire of his sister VI. These skins of Arcane They have not appeared again to the store Fortnite Since then – not even to celebrate the premiere of the second and last season of the series – and became two of the most desired attire by the players. We have bad news: they may never come back.
Through a publication in Your Twitter accountMarc Merrill – Riot Games Cocfounder and Cooking League of Legends– He said that unfortunately It does not seem that this collaboration will be available again.
Going to “all the players who have been asking us about the situation of the Skins de Arcane”, explained that since the outfits were launched in 2021 to “that the launch of season 1 felt truly special” have had many conversations with Epic about “how to make it possible.” However “They have not found the right adjustment to bring them back and will not pass in the predictable future”.
Although it does not say it is impossible, it seems that the negotiations so that the skins of Jinx and VI of Arcane return to Fortnite They failed. Many players do not understand that it is not as simple as simply saying “yes” and putting them back in the store. There are many legal issues, copyright, image and use of registered trademarks involved in these things and a simple detail can ruin the possibility of a 'crossover'. Those are the reasons why DC Comics 'skins' disappeared for a while and others such as those of John Wick y there They were not available when the sequelae of the films were in cinemas.
If you have the VI and Jinx skins, enjoy them. If not, there are many others that you can use.
