We already met Mara Contreras and her tragic story when this character was revealed in the ‘Tales from the Wild Lands’. Now it’s time to see this new character, better known as Vantage, competing in the games of Apex Legends thanks to a new trailer that revealed his abilities in preparation for ‘The Hunt’, the upcoming seasonal update.

What are the abilities of Vantage, the new character of Apex Legends?
- Passive – Locator Lens– Using his Observer Lens to read tactical information from enemy squads from a distance, Vantage will gain an advantage with critical information such as legend name, shield rarity, team size, and rank.
- Tactical – Relocation of Echo: the Echo bat, helps us reposition ourselves during a battle. Using his modified jetpack and his homing system, Vantage will be able to dash towards his pet’s position and take a terrain advantage.
- Ultimate – Mark of Sniper– Vantage’s modified sniper rifle can reveal enemies with its scope and ammo. An effective shot will show enemy squads for 10 seconds accompanied by a diamond marker and the damage taken will increase with each shot.
When will the new Vantage legend come to Apex Legends?
The new character will be added to Apex Legends as part of the ‘Hunted’ update. The release date of this update will be Tuesday, August 9, 2022 and will arrive with big changes for the Cañon de los Reyes map.
