The first day of Blizzcon 2021 featured several announcements to the public. Among them was Diablo II: Resurrected, a new expansion of Hearthstone and a new trailer for the next patch of World of Warcraft. Also, there was one game in particular from which new information was expected, and that was Overwatch 2, which introduced us to a new heroine named Sojourn.
While the public was expecting a release date of Overwatch 2, Blizzard made no mention of this. From what can be interpreted from this decision is that the game still lacks a good development time and wants to take it easy, especially after recent bad experiences with other titles.
However, Blizzard took advantage of the day to simply talk about what has been worked on Overwatch 2

Character and map design in Overwatch 2

The developers re-emphasized the PvE (Player vs. Environment) approach to play in the new Hero missions. These are scenarios where players will have to complete objectives while fighting hordes of robotic enemies from a faction called Null Sector.
On the other hand, commented on the inclusion of class liabilities. In this way, it is intended that the damage heroes have a slight movement advantage, and that the support ones have a life regeneration. However, it is not yet known if these passives will vary between characters.
A Overwatch 2 talent trees will also arrive. This will allow players to customize some abilities and characteristics of the heroes. For example, it will give the possibility of being able to turn more easily while Reinhardt carries out a load.
Additionally, the developers pointed out their interest in turning tanks into more than just a damage-resistant class. A) Yes, they want to give them the possibility to face the enemy with stronger attacks, instead of just having shields.
