Little by little we continue to know the background of our favorite characters from Apex Legends thanks to “Stories from the Wildlands.” These are animated short films that show us the past of each of the ‘Legends’ of the game. This time it was the turn of our highly esteemed Pathfinder robot.
The new story of the wilds is entitled “Evening of Combat” and it is a ‘neo-noir’ adventure. That means it’s inspired by detective novels and movies from the middle of the last century. The protagonist, curiously, is not Pathfinder. We follow a former police lieutenant named Victor Maldera who has become a security guard and fate places him alongside our favorite Mobile Robotics Versatile Entity (MRVN). His objective is to protect the robot from the attack of the mafia, as it has information about an old target: Alexander Nox, better known as Caustic.
