When miHoYo revealed the content of update 2.2 of Genshin Impact A few weeks ago, he introduced us to Thoma, who will arrive in the next gachapon and whose skills we finally got to know in a new video.
Take a four-star Pyro warrior who uses a spear. Despite being from Mondstat, he became an intermediary with the Yashiro Commission in Inazuma. Although his spear and Pyro vision suggested he would be an attack character, he is a support character with the ability to generate shields to protect the entire team.
Thoma’s abilities in Genshin Impact
- Passive ability– When we fish in Inazuma and he is in the team, there is a chance of getting double the fish.
- Normal Attack – Speedbreaker Lance– They can chain up to four hits that deal non-elemental physical damage.
- Charged attack: Lunges forward, dealing physical damage to the enemy in exchange for a bit of stamina. It is very similar to Xiangling’s charged attack.
- Elemental Skill – Burning Blessing: Thoma throws himself forward dealing Pyro element area damage with a kick. This summons a fire defense shield. It absorbs damage according to the character’s maximum health. It is especially effective against Pyro damage. If another shield is obtained, it accumulates with the previous one and resets its duration.
- Ultimate Ability – Crimson Ooyoroi– Deals Pyro element area damage and spawns a special fiery breastplate. While this lasts, the active character’s attacks will deal Pyro element area damage and activate a shield. If the ‘Incinerating Offensive’ talent is unlocked, it will increase in damage in proportion to Thoma’s maximum health.
- Passive Talent – Imbricated Armor: Unlocking this talent increases the resistance of the shield when obtaining or refreshing it.
What is Thoma’s arrival date at Genshin Impact and how to get it?
