A new character is coming to the team shooter from Evil Mojo Games and Hi-Rez Studios. Is about Betty la Bomba, a champion who will soon be part of the selection list of Paladins.
The arrival of this character in the game was expected from before. On several occasions they shared trailer stills or other promotional images that gave an idea of their identity. In fact, many already knew her name.
The announcement was made through an official trailer that announces the arrival of Betty the Bomb at Paladins throughout March this year. In this one we can see a bit of her theme: a character inspired by Latin people who really enjoys explosions.
The trailer also reveals a surprising relationship with another champion already present in the game.. We are talking about Bomb King, a mechanical character that was already used in the damage role and had a large arsenal of explosives.
On Paladins Betty the Bomb turns out to be the creator of the Bomb King.
The role of Betty the Bomb will also be that of damage. We don’t know his abilities yet, but leaked concept arts they reveal that he will use a grenade launcher. In this we will see a small head of Bomb King and some emojis represented with bombs. Beyond that, we will have to wait for its launch to find out how it will behave in games.
