Just a month ago the players of KOF XV they were receiving the update that enabled crossplay with Goenitz. Now, the Japanese developer has revealed the presentation trailer for the fifth DLC character of the second season or year of The King of Fighters XV. On this occasion, SNK introduces us to Najd, a character who arrives with new movements and —just like his nationality pair in SF 6— The fighting style with which he debuted does not change much.

Who is Najd?
Najd (ナジュド) debuted in The King of Fighters XIV and its design was made by the Saudi artist Mashael Al-Barrak. She was the winner of SNK’s contest, which was looking for a new design for a game character. Najd is an “ordinary” college student during the day. However, at nightfall she becomes a watchman in order to protect her fellow citizens from her. She is considered to be the opposite side of Kim Kaphwan. Since, despite having the same sense of justice, the way in which Najd executes his ideals is totally opposite to that of the Korean fighter.
Apparently, the story of Najd in the universe of KOF will expand in The King of Fighters XV. Since, she will have interactions with other characters like Elizabeth, Kukri and Kim.
When is Najd coming out or available in The King of Fighters XV (KOF XV)?
While the trailer doesn’t reveal the exact release date of Najd in KOF XV, if you make it clear to us that it will be released during the summer. That is to say, the players of The King of Fighters XV they will be able to play Najd sometime in August 2023.
Along with the new trailer for The King of Fighters XV (KOF XV), SNK revealed that attendees of EVO 2023 will be able to test Najd before launch. So it’s likely that the week after EVO 2023 Najd will hit KOF XV.
How does Najd fight in KOF XV?
Many of Najd’s fighting moves in The King of Fighters XV (KOF XV) -among these their iconic rekkas- seem to remain as we saw them in the last installment of KOF. However, the trailer does show off some of Najd’s new moves. Among these is one that in its EX version gives the aerial movement the properties of a ‘dive kick’. This certainly gives the character better air control and new attacking opportunities.
The trailer shows off two of Najd’s new super special moves. These correspond to a super aerial and its climax.
