Debauchery came to the pitched battle. The destruction of Pandora’s Box attracted a sandstorm and a group of invaders who are going to turn the island into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Let’s get to know the new map, the new skins, objects, mechanics and everything about season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 5.
This new season will begin on Friday, May 24, 2024 around 7 am (Colombia, Peru and Ecuador time). Let’s see its launch trailer.
New Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 map
The south central part of the map has changed with the arrival of the new season. Now it is a desert area with new points of interest such as the Nitrodomo.
This is what the new points of interest look like: Radical Refinery, Nitrodome and Brutal Ship
New skins
The outfits that we will get in the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 battle pass include collaborations with Fallout y X-Menlet’s see the skins that we can unlock there: The engineer, Oxi, Pea, Scarr master of ceremonies, Brotherhood of Steel T-60 Power Armor, Magneto, Bombardier Renegade and the new villain Megalo Don.
Three of these characters will serve as the new bosses of the map: The Machinist, Carr and of course Megalo Don. Magneto will be the secret outfit that we can unlock by completing mid-season missions.
We also know thanks to data miners like iFireMonkey that later we will have a collaboration with the indie game Lethal Company
New items and mechanics
This season we can return to improve our vehicle and equip it with different parts.
- Machine gun turret (ceiling)
- Grenade launcher turret (ceiling)
- spiked bumper (front bumper)
- Atrapavacas (front bumper)
- bulletproof tires (tires)
- All-terrain tires (tires)
These objects will appear in mod boxes. There’s also repair boxes
Other new objects are:
- Nitroimpulso: portable nitro container that we can add to our vehicle or use on the player to shoot off at full speed.
- nitro barrels: barrels that we can find on the map and that “nitrify” when they explode. Unlike other barrels, they fly away when blocked and explode upon landing.
And a vehicle is nitrified, increases its speed, gains explosive ramming power, consumes less fuel, and its modifications become more powerful. If he player is nitrified will run faster, gains explosive hit power, consumes less stamina, reloads faster, and becomes immune to fall damage.
The most powerful vehicle of this new season is the war bus and we can find two on the island in each game.
Each war bus has two cannons on top and a horn that produces a electromagnetic pulse which damages the shield of nearby enemies and temporarily disables vehicles.
Other new items for the season are:
- Explosive crossbow: the perfect weapon to face the war bus and vehicles modified for combat
- Nuka Cola: this object that arrives on the new map Fortnite Chapter 5 season 3 from the universe of Fallout allows you to recover life and shield over time.
- sipping cactus: In desert areas we will find these plants that we can hit to heal ourselves and repair vehicles.
Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 5 will end on August 16, 2024.
