The traditional summer games event has just started in Overwatch 2 and in addition to Winston’s new Beach Volleyball game mode, we can win several free cosmetics, including the epic Tropical skin for Doomfist.
When does the summer games event start and until what date is it available in Overwatch 2?
This activities they started on Tuesday the 11th and will be available in-game until Monday, July 24, 2023.
New Game Mode: Winston’s Beach Volleyball
Volleyball is actually a 3v3 battle in which we control characters with summer-themed designs. We will be throwing a huge ball to the rival field to score points and the other side will have to prevent it and try to do the same.
The first team to score ten points in this version of volleyball Overwatch 2 win the game.
Classic game mode: Lúcioball
This well-known game mode in which two teams made up only of Lucios try to score goals is back. It has three maps available and the alternative version Lúciobol Remix in which there are several balls in play.
New summer designs and free ‘skin’ for Doomfist in Overwatch 2
In addition to the beautiful ‘skin’ mercy lifeguard which is available as part of a bundle worth 2600 store credits, we can get for free the epic Doomfist Tropical skin, his graffiti and a victory pose. We can also win a Lúcioball weapon charm, new sprays, player icons and 50,000 experience points for the battle pass.
All these cosmetics are rewards that we can receive for completing the different missions of the summer games event of Overwatch 2
