At the beginning of December we found out that this shooting game was preparing and ‘crossover' with the popular Netflix series that recently premiered its second season. Now, thanks to a new video, we can confirm the start date and learn more details about this collaboration between Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 y Warzone con The squid game 2including what are the new 'skins' and game modes that will be available during the event.

As you can see, this is not a simple collaboration in which they add a new operator and that's it. This is a complete event.
What is the start date of the collaboration?
The games will begin on Friday, January 3, 2024.
What are the 'skins' of The Squid Game that will come to Call of Duty
To start, we will have player uniforms. We will have Player 006 with the complete uniform and Player 115 with the jacket tied around the waist.
The iconic ones will not be missing either. Guards with the fuchsia uniform and helmets with the three symbols of the game: the triangle, the square and the circle.
We can also play with the Leader and with the VIP with at least two variants of masks.
Another of the iconic elements of The Squid Game that will appear in the form of a skin in this collaboration with Call of Duty It's the 'green light, red light' doll. It won't just be an element of one of the game modes.
In addition to these operators, there will be weapon blueprints, executions and other cosmetic items inspired by the Netflix series.
The game modes of the event
At the time of writing this note, they have not officially revealed what the limited-time game modes will be like. The squid game 2 which will be available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 y Warzone. However, in the trailer we can see what appears to be a recreation of the game. Green light, red light.
We also see sequences that suggest that there will be a game mode in which we can collect the ddakji boards and another that appears to be a confrontation between players and guards.
Although this seems like it will be a fun collaboration, it has not been without controversy. It seems that it will introduce a new microtransaction system that does not make its players happy. For their part, others claim that putting these elements in a video game like Call of Duty ignores the series' social criticism and anti-capitalist themes.
