One of the Games announced during The Game Awards 2024 that most caught our attention is the new work of director Josef Fares and his study Hazelight, responsible for the excellent Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, A Way Out e It Takes Two. We talk about Split Fictiona new title for two players that premiered a new trailer revealing some of the worlds that we will visit and how will the optional missions will be.

In this game we will take the role of two writers – a fantasy author and another science fiction – who are trapped within their own works and must work together to escape and prevent an evil company from stealing their work. You can see the new trailer below, Courtesy of the official electronic arts channel on YouTube.

This advance reveals one of the science fiction worlds – which seems inspired by Tron– In which we handle futuristic motorcycles at high speed and we even have to face a boss while we ride them. We also see one of the fantasy worlds in which the protagonists can change in form: one of them becomes a fairy while the other becomes a troll.

We can also see how the optional missions system will work for Split Fiction. During the adventure we can find portals – surely hidden – that we must cross to visit new worlds where we will carry out unique activities such as flying through space and assembling sand worms.

Finally, the new trailer of Split Fiction It reminds us that the game's release date will be the Thursday, March 6, 2025 For PlayStation, Xbox and PC. It will allow the cross -game between platforms and include a 'friend pass' that will allow us to play the game with someone else even if that person does not buy it.
