Is SNK planning to release new DLC content or a third season of The King of Fighters XV?
In his interview, Rooflemonger —in addition to covering specific topics on Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves— opens his interview by asking about the future of The King of Fighters XV and yes there will be a third season of DLC content for the game. Usually in these types of events – or interviews – the developers do not deviate and try to answer only questions about the game that is being promoted. However, Oda surprised her interviewer—and many of us—with a quick and sincere response.
“We are planning to add some more characters to the game”Oda responded to the question “will there be new DLC content or a third season for The King of Fighters XV, through his translator. Additionally he added, “We will provide more details in the future, but there is nothing to share explicitly today”. So it’s official, The King of Fighters XV will receive new DLC content. However, they may be characters and not a season like the previous ones. The truth is that with the arrival of Terry Bogart and Mai Shiranui to Street Fighter 6 and the confirmation of Oda, about new characters arriving in the future to The King of Fighter XVit’s not unreasonable to think that some Capcom characters could land in KOF.
