Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment – known for titles like Max Payne, Alan Wake Y CONTROL– reported in its most recent financial report that 2020 has been its best year. This is especially interesting considering that they did not release any new games.
According to the report, the studio’s income increased by 30%, reaching 41.1 million Euros.
What is the reason for this success? It’s all thanks to CONTROL

Remedy Entertainment CEO Tero Virtala said the continued success of CONTROL shows that “great games have long life cycles.” He added that “they will continue to support the game and take it even further, but their development team is gradually shifting to work on a new game.”
Remedy is currently working in partnership with Smilegate to create the single player campaign for Crossfire. They are also working on a cooperative title called Vanguard and in two games for Epic Games: a AAA and a smaller game. Both will come to PC and consoles.
