The phenomenon of FFXIV continues to grow and the recent launch of the expansion Endwalker It exceeded all expectations of Square Enix. So much so that the game servers have not been able to support the number of players who want to participate in this MMO. We had already talked about this problem before, but the situation has not improved and they have decided to temporarily suspend the sale of Final Fantasy XIV
Through a new statement published in the official forums of FFXIV, producer Naoki ‘Yoshi P’ Yoshida announced several measures they are taking to end the long waiting lines to currently access the game. Explained that Square Enix decided to temporarily suspend sales of the physical and digital editions of Final Fantasy XIV. New registrations to the game’s popular free trial will also be suspended.
Players with an active subscription will also be given priority when logging in. Those with the free version will not be able to play during peak hours. Advertising for the game will also be suspended.
The statement does not say when the suspension will end or when we will have Final Fantasy XIV back for sale. Yoshida apologizes to all players affected by this and offered 14 days of free access to the game in addition to the 7 they had previously given away.
We hope that all these problems will be overcome soon and we can enjoy this excellent MMO again.
