10 months ago, FromSoftware announced that Shadow of the Erdtree is the name of the first DLC of Elden Ring. However, the next news we had about this content was two weeks ago. This news was revealed by Yashuhiro Kitao, producer of the game, who stated that Shadow of the Erdtree, the expansion of Elden Ring will take longer than expected. Now, thanks to a leak from a peripheral manufacturer, it seems that the date on which Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be available has been revealed.
When is the release date of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree?
According to the leak, which gives us a possible answer to the question “when is the release date of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree«, the first DLC of Elden Ring It will arrive for your anniversary. This means that the release date of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree It could be February 25, 2024. However, it is strange for something to be released on a Sunday. However, at the end of February or beginning of March is not a crazy date to see the arrival of the DLC of Elden Ring called Shadow of the Erdtree. This is as long as Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announce the official date of the DLC at the end of December or beginning of January.
This speculation arises from FromSoftware’s pattern in launching the expansions or DLC of its games:
- Old HuntersDLC de Bloodborne, It was announced in September 2015 and released in November of the same year.
- Ashes of AriandelDLC de Dark Souls III, It was announced in August 2016 and released in October 2016.
- The Ringed CityDLC de Dark Souls IIIwas announced in January 2017 and came out in March of the same year.
What do you think, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree It will arrive in the first quarter of 2024. Or it is perhaps still too early for this DLC to see the light of day.
