SNK is looking for people to work on Art of Fighting and a SamSho ARPG

During EVO 2024, various fighting game developers made several announcements about their future projects or updates to the games that are already available. However, of all the companies that attended EVO 2024, SNK was the one that shared the most announcements during the event. Among SNK’s most important announcements was the presentation of Kevin Rian at Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves

and the relaunch of SNK Vs. Capcom SVC Chaos.

A new Art of Fighting and an action RPG Samurai Shodown

This is the moment, in which they reveal that it is confirmed that SNK is working on a new Art of Fighting and revealed the ARPG of Samurai Shodown.

However, during the first day of EVO 2024, the developer commented —quickly— that among its next projects were a new Art of Fighting and an action RPG set in the universe of Samurai Shodown.

SNK’s website is currently offering job openings for artists, planners, sound directors, and programmers to participate in the development of SNK’s new action RPG (ARPG). Samurai Shodown.

So at least to see some of this game, we assume we’ll have to wait a while. However, the new Art of Fighting has been around —at least in rumors— for about a year and a half. We’ll have to wait for Tokyo Game Show to see if SNK decides to give any preview of the development of these two new games from franchises that shone in the 90s in the arcades.
