If you are about to buy a PlayStation 5, release the card and wait a little. Sony would be to announce important discounts for both PS5 and PS5 Pro As part of the Days of Play 2025 campaign, according to a new filtration.
According to publishes Billbil-Kunand leaker With a quite precise history of the world of video games, the company could announce the discounts for the PS5 and PS5 Pro as soon as tomorrow, Tuesday, May 27. This is because the Days of Play 2025 would go from May 28 to June 11.
In the course of this period, Sony would not only offer devices at a discounted price. He would also do the same with the PlayStation VR2 and with some versions of the Dualsense command. The company would also take the opportunity to launch new PlayStation 5 bundles with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Regarding discounts for current generation consoles, the report indicates that the PS5 would be offered in exchange for 100 dollars less. This would apply both to the standard model, which includes the record reader, and to the 100 % digital variant. While in the case of the PS5 Pro, the reduction would be 50 dollars.
If these amounts are confirmed, the Digital PS5 will break the floor of the 400 dollars. Nothing bad, considering that in April its price had increased by 50 dollars, being on the verge of 500 dollars. In the case of the PS5 Pro, it would be its first official discount since it was announced in September last year. Remove 50 dollars at its price label does not make it incredibly affordable, but it is a benefit that they surely want to take advantage of those who were about to make the effort to buy that version.
