2022 is another year without E3 (there are plans for E3 2023) and some believe that this iconic video game event will never come back. But that does not mean that different companies and studios are going to be left without a space to promote their next releases. Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest, Sony’s State of Play, Microsoft, Bethesda, THQ Nordic and many more have special game presentations planned between June and August 2022 that will serve as a “replacement” to E3 so that we do not miss it or a little.
This article will be updated as new events are announced. The times indicated are for Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Mexico and are subject to possible changes.
Sony State of Play
This will be a presentation of approximately 30 minutes in which, in addition to revealing new games and giving new information about others already announced – with any luck, the release date for God of War: Ragnarok
Summer Game Fest 2022

Day of the Devs 2022
All the news from the world of independent games.

This is another presentation focused on independent games from publishers like Neon Doctrine and Akupara.
Wholesome Direct
Another presentation of independent games, but focused on titles without violence, relaxing and out of the mold of what video games should be.

Future Games Show
This presentation is organized by the publication GamesRadar and in this one we usually see independent games and AA. It will be an hour long and will feature around 40 games from publishers like Team17, Thunderful, and Amanita Design.
Xbox and Bethesda Games Presentation 2022
In addition to the Xbox Game Studios games and what Bethesda has in store for us —among which there will surely be more information about Starfield— we will see titles from other studios that prepare games for Microsoft platforms. You can learn more by following this link..
PC Gaming Show
PC Gamer’s now traditional PC gaming showcase will be back to showcase loads of new titles and likely continue the bizarre narrative of last year’s showcase, in which a vengeful AI took over the show.

THQ Nordic 2022 Games Presentation
The huge studio conglomerate, which recently acquired Eidos and Crystal Dynamic, says it has a lot to show for it. The funny thing is that it seems that it will not only focus on new titles, but on updates and new versions of games already released.
