It’s perfectly understandable that, in the midst of a pandemic, Ubisoft has decided to stop releasing new content for a game in which a deadly virus wiped out society. But while COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc, time has passed and many believe it’s time to put the problems behind them. The Division 2 will soon welcome its ‘Hidden Alliance’ Season 9 with new bosses, cosmetics, game modes and a free weekend.
When does ‘Hidden Alliance’ season 9 start on The Division 2?
The new content has already begun to arrive in the game for Latin America. Its main activities will be available to the rest of the world from Thursday, May 12, 2022
What is the ‘Hidden Alliance’ season about?
The great villain of the season is the Captain Lewis of the True Sons. His team is already in Washington and we have to foil his plans, which appear to be a grand robbery.
Before facing him we have to defeat his four lieutenants who take the place of bosses from certain dates. They are Castillo (May 10), Daniels (May 31), Chang (June 21) and Xander (July 12). As usual, each of them will have “league” versions shortly after their appearance.
New game mode: countdown (‘countdown’)
The new game mode added in Season 9 of The Division 2 is a mode for eight players divided into two teams. We have to stabilize power at a nuclear plant before a 15-minute countdown ends.
new cosmetics
The Division 2 Season 9 ‘Hidden Alliance’ cosmetics will be part of a new battle pass y two clothing events.
On Tuesday, May 24, the event will begin ‘Equipo Fairview‘. For its part, the event ‘Street activation‘ will be on Tuesday, July 5.
The season roadmap also refers to a new feature called ‘Expertise’, new global events, and more gear, but Ubisoft hasn’t given any details on that.
