Almost a year after its disappearance under the excuse that it was actually in ‘beta’, the winner of The Game Awards award for best fighting game of 2022 is back. A few weeks ago we learned the official release date of Multiversussome of the changes that will have in its gameplay and now we know who is the first new character he will have: it is The guason.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 7, an ARG (alternative reality) campaign began through its social networks and Discord server. By following the clues, players could reveal who the game’s new character was going to be.
The campaign was supposed to last several days, but players managed to unravel all the clues in less than 24 hours. Thanks to that, the surprise was revealed much sooner than expected.
WB Games and Payer First Games have already officially revealed what many already suspected. The Joker is the new character of Multiversus. On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, when this game is re-released, it will accompany Batman and Harley Quinn, who are characters from the original version. His voice will be that of Mark Hamill, who has already played him in other video games and animated series.
The Joker will be a Mage class character, meaning he will specialize in ranged attacks. His abilities are:
- Lever– Hit a lever upwards, it can be charged.
- Cheating player: throws a card as a projectile. It can have three different effects.
- Takeoff!: Fires a rocket launcher. It can be charged.
