Although they have not officially said when we leave, we already met the (supposed) launch date of one of the most anticipated AAA games of the year: Mafia: The Old Country. The only officer they had said about it is that it would come out this year, but now we have more accurate information.
These data appeared on Thursday night April 11 On the Steam page of the game in Spanish (which, by the way, appears officially translated as Mafia: The Old Continent). Reference to a live event that will take place in Boston to promote the title, they added the following paragraph.

According to this, the launch date of Mafia: The Old Country It would be the August 8, 2025. The information was deleted shortly after, but not before we could see it.
Although most likely they have withdrawn the information simply because they plan to reveal it officially later, it is always possible to be outdated information and that the release date of the game is actually a different one. We will have to wait for an official statement from the Hangar13 study or the 2K Games distributor to be safe.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that this mafia game is a victim of leaks. The official trailer they showed in The Game Awards at the end of 2024 appeared on the Internet a few hours before.
The “old country” referred to in the title is the coast of Sicily, Italy, in the first half of the twentieth century. The story will focus on the birth of the Mafia, one of the best known organized crime organizations in the world. When it comes out Mafia: The Old Country (Mafia: The Old Continent) We can play on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and on PC via Steam.
