The day has arrived. The long-awaited PlayStation 5 console is finally here and we can enjoy games like Demon’s Souls, Bugsnax Y Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Among the PS5 launch titles we also find The Pathless, that we had told you about here.
This game is the work of Giant Squid, creators of ABZU, and is published by Annapurna Interactive, who have made a name for themselves by releasing some very cool indie titles.
In The Pathless We control a hunter who travels to a mystical world in the company of her faithful eagle. There he must end a curse that has everything submerged in darkness. The gameplay asks us to travel this land at high speed while aiming our bow at various objectives or gliding through the air with the help of our feathered friend. It is a new way to explore an open world.
The game also places a lot of emphasis on massive boss battles and some will surely think of titles like Shadow of the Colossus at the time of these clashes. The launch trailer also gives us a look at what appears to be the game’s main villain: a being called The Godslayer – The God Slayer.
The Pathless it is not only available for PS5. We can also find it on PS4, PC through the Epic Games Store and iOS devices through Apple Arcade.
