The distributor Modus Games presented in the framework of E3 2021 what will be the opening video of Crystals, made by Sunshine Animation. This is a game developed by the Colombian studio Dreams Uncorporated together with SYCK, and inspired by JRPG as Chrono Trigger by its time plans and the battle system of Person 5.
Crystals puts players in the shoes of Crisbell, an orphan from Narim who gains the power to control time. The protagonist must stop the Empress of the Ages before she destroys Crystallis and the other four kingdoms in the region. Fortunately she will be accompanied by her friends Cristopher, Willhelm and Matias the frog. Here you can see the collector’s edition of the game
This title does not hide its strong Colombian roots in the architecture of the city of St. Clarity, where the upper and lower classes coexist in known inequality. Colonial Cartagena has been one of the main role models, while situations such as the flooding of poor neighborhoods every time it rains, hints at real life in Barranquilla.
