Everything we’ve seen about the fourth game of Blizzard’s “diabolical” saga has seemed extremely interesting to us and we’re ready to live for hundreds of hours in Sanctuary. But what are we going to do during all that time? It all depends on the activities that take place when completing the campaign, so we are going to know what the ‘endgame’ or postgame content of Diablo 4.
All the information about what we will be doing in the game after the credits roll has been brought to us via a new video from the developers.
The developers explain that, Once the campaign is over, the players will have to overcome a ‘cornerstone’ dungeon (capstone dungeon). At the end of this test we will access the first level of the world.
From this moment we can continue increasing the level of the world to play with more and more difficulty. The higher the level, the more powerful the enemies will be but we will also get better loot by defeating them.
That is the basis of the content and postgame activities or ‘endgame’ of Diablo 4but there is much more.
Paragon and Codex Levels of Power
Like in other games Diabloby increasing our power we will go from the skill tree to the levels of the paragon board. In this we can continue increasing the skills and characteristics of the character. We can even rotate it to follow different upgrade paths to customize our warrior exactly as we want.
Similarly, the power codex plays an important role in the postgame. At the end of a dungeon we can collect a Aspect. With these we can make objects more powerful with new abilities.
nightmare dungeons
In the postgame or ‘endgame’ of Diablo 4 we can return to a dungeon that we have already overcome and use a sigil to transform it into its nightmare version. This will make them more difficult, they will have additional and different objectives affixes.
Affixes can cause different effects in a nightmare dungeon. For example, portals with enemies from other levels may appear.
Diablo 4 It will have more than 120 different dungeons and any of them can be transformed into their nightmare version.
hellish waves
In the post-game, the infernal forces can grow in any part of Sanctuary and we will be able to go to those areas where we find special and more powerful monsters. By defeating them we will obtain special fragments that we can use to get great chest rewards.
whispers of the dead
These are special missions that give us in a place called ‘Whispering Tree’. By completing them we can return to the tree to get random rewards.
Fields of Hate: The Postgame or ‘Endgame’ Player vs. Player (PvP) Experience of Diablo 4
The places in Sanctuary designated as fields of hate will be the regions in which we can participate in player vs. player confrontations in Diablo 4
In these combats we can get Fragments that must be purified to take them to the town and sell them. Of course, other players will try to prevent it in order to keep the fragments for themselves.
The developers clarify that this is just the beginning and that they will continue to add post-game or ‘endgame’ content and activities to Diablo 4. For example, we all hope that the season system of Diablo III.
