Some days ago we were able to see for the first time the hunting game in the style Monster Hunter from EA and Koei Tecmo thanks to their reveal trailer. Now we can learn more about how it will be played Wild Hearts thanks to a new gameplay video.
You can take a look at this seven-minute video below:
Here we can see the hunt for the huge bakemono boar called Kingtusk. It starts with a player wielding a katana and we see how karakuri – hunting tools – are not only used in combat, but also to easily traverse the stages. We also note that other players can join in at any point in the quest and work together to defeat the monster together.
Yeah, it all looks very similar to Monster Hunterbut we see that the gameplay of Wild Hearts It will have “a flavor of its own.” It will also have a greater focus on the use of karakuri than Capcom’s game has on its traps and other tools. The Japanese medieval setting is also much more pronounced.
Wild Hearts will go on sale on Friday, February 17, 2023. We can enjoy it on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Origin, Steam and the Epic Game Store.
