When FFVII Remake came to PS Plus in March 2021, there was a group of gamers who were quite disappointed: the owners of a PS5 console. It turns out that those who obtained the game this way could not update it to the improved version Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which in addition to graphic improvements and new options such as photo mode, included a DLC starring Yuffie. The only way to enjoy all of this was to buy the full set.
At least until now.
Through a statement posted on the game’s official Twitter account, Square Enix announced that all PS Plus subscribers who had redeemed FFVII Remake Through PS Plus you can update it at no extra cost to the PS5 version from Wednesday, December 22, 2021. This does not include the DLC Intermission starring Yuffie, who must be purchased separately.
Although this news made PS5 players who only had the PS4 version of the game very happy thanks to PS Plus, it angered many others. In the responses to the tweet we can find many players frustrated because they spent money buying the version Intergrade despite having the title on PS Plus, only because they had been told that they would not be able to update it.

This news comes amid another small controversy for FFVII RemakeBecause its PC version, which costs $ 70 in the Epic Games Store (270,000 pesos for Colombia), seems to have many performance problems.
