That’s how it is. The story is set in the town of Lakeshore and begins when a family garage robbery shatters a friendship and marks the rise from novice to professional pilot. Our objective will be to reach the top of the illegal races to recover the valuable car that was stolen. But the more intense the races get, the more we will attract the attention of the police.
A$ap Rocky in NFS Unbound
As you could see in the trailer, which includes the new song Shittin Methe rapper A$ap Rocky will have a very important role in this new game of Need for Speed.
He will appear in the game as the leader of Takeover Scene, a new replayable precision driving mode in which we must “take control” of parts of the city. In addition, the rapper also participated as a creative consultant for the game to help give it more “authenticity and style”.
Will it be a game as a service?
We still don’t know for sure. Although EA and Criterion revealed that the game will receive free updates after launch, they did not confirm if it will have microtransactions, a season pass or similar elements.
What will the multiplayer mode be like?
According to the developers, NFS Unbound will have a multiplayer mode designed to be “as frictionless as possible” and we will be able to join games and send race invites very easily no matter what platform others play on since this delivery of Need for Speed will allow the ‘crossplay’ or cross game.

EA and Criterion confirmed the details of the leak. The release date of NFS Unbound for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (EA app, Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store) will be on Friday, December 2, 2022
It will also be part of the EA Play subscription service and can be pre-ordered now.
Those who pre-order the game before November 29, 2022 will receive an exclusive content pack including a driving effects pack, vinyls, a license plate, banner art, stickers, $150,000 in their wallet when they first enter multiplayer and more.
The bad news is that the game will cost $279,999 Colombian pesos.
