'Trial of the Scorching Sands' web event guide

Although Cyno has not yet reached Genshin Impactof we know all about him (also all about Candace) and we can participate in the ‘Trial of the Scorching Sands’ web event that he stars in, so we’re going to tell you what it is and what rewards you can win.

What is the date of the event?

Is it availabe between Friday, August 23 and Wednesday, August 28, 2022.

How to play Cyno’s ‘Trial of the Scorching Sands’ web event on Genshin Impact?

Whether they play on PC or mobile, enter this websiteselect the server you play on (if you are in Colombia, it is most likely America) and log in with your Hoyoverse account

. But the best option to participate is by entering directly from the ‘special events’ menu within the game or the link you received in the internal mail. This will automatically log you in with your account.

We also recommend accessing directly from that menu if you play from PS4 or PS5. In this case, the game will give them a QR code that they can scan with their phone to access the site automatically logged in. Otherwise, they will have to use their UID to link the event to their game. You will receive an email in Genshin Impact that they must validate in the next 10 minutes to start the event.

Remember that only players who have already reached Adventure Rank 10 or higher will be able to participate.

What is the web event about?

It is very simple. Cyno must search for a lost traveler in the desert and to do so he has to fill his backpack with provisions. In the same instructions on the screen we can see what we should take.

If we go to the desert without the required amounts of items, Cyno will turn back and we start over. If we want to carry dates or cards, we can increase the size of the backpack by completing very simple tasks that consist of visiting other websites.
