Two months ago Capcom carried out, the second closed beta of Street Fighter 6 and introduced to Marisa, Manon, JP y Dee Jay. Now, surprisingly, the Japanese developer revealed to the first commentator or ‘caster’ that it will have Street Fighter 6. However, far from presenting a member of the community as MarineCapcom surprised its fans with the inclusion of WWE professional wrestler Thea Trinidad, better known as Zelina Vegaas the new commentator or ‘caster’ (color) of Street Fighter 6.
Zelina Vega’s announcement as a commentator for Street Fighter 6 It occurred during the WWE Royal Rumble event. In this event, during the fight that bears the same name as the event, two wrestlers or wrestlers start fighting and every 90 seconds a new “superstar” —as WWE refers to its athletes— enters the ring. However, Zelina Vega is not the first commentator, who is not known in the fighting game community, to reach out to SF6. Since, next to her, is the sumo singer and commentator Demon Kakka. The latter was presented in September 2022.
This is not the first time that Zelina Vega has fought with an outfit of a character from a fighting game, since in previous WWE matches she has fought as Vega – a character that inspired her name in WWE – and Sindel de the franchise Mortal Kombat.
With the arrival of Zelina Vega —to the group of commentators or ‘casters’ of Street Fighter 6 —It only remains to wait for Capcom to announce the arrival of Kenny Omega, a professional wrestler who is much loved by the fighting game community and has been a fan of video games.
