Over the years, many of you have participated in various beta programs of Sony Interactive, which has helped us to offer the best possible game experiences to players around the world. And we are really grateful for your participation.
This is why I am happy to present the beta program at PlayStation Initiative. It is an easier and more consolidated way for players to register to participate in future PlayStation beta through a wide range of PlayStation experiences.
The PlayStation beta program will create an easy and centralized place to record your interest in a range of future PlayStation beta. A single registration for the beta program on PlayStation will allow you to express an interest in obtaining beta access to test participating games for the PS5 console and the PC, the new features of the PS5 console, the features of the PlayStation application and even the features of the user experience on PlayStation.com. You only need to register once to express your interest in these various beta, and if you receive an invitation to a specific beta version, it's up to you to decide whether you want to participate or not.
Here are the requirements:
- Players must have a valid account for PlayStation Network in good standing with a current e-mail address. Accounts with restrictions or violations may not be eligible for participation.
- Players must live in the region where the PlayStation beta program is available.
- Players must meet the legal age requirement for their region.
It is free to join and registration will begin to open on a global scale from today to PlayStation.com/beta-program-at-playStation/. Please come back later if the page is not yet available in your region.
In addition, although we try to include as many players as possible in our beta programs, we can sometimes be more interested than we can take it into account. By joining this program, it allows you to be taken into account for beta participation, but it does not guarantee the selection for a beta test. Just something to remember!
