The expectations around Resident Evil Village are pretty high right now. The new installment of the Capcom game that will continue to introduce us to Ethan’s story will take us to a village full of very mysterious and hostile inhabitants.
We now know that these expectations are backed by the support of fans on Twitch. The popular streamer platform brought together more than 400,000 viewers ahead of Resident Evil Village launch
In fact, Resident Evil Village managed to accumulate more than 150,000 viewers on average the day before its launch, which represents a more than representative amount within the platform.
It is understandable that this amount will decrease throughout the weekend when more players have access to the title, but many other viewers could have been encouraged to acquire a copy of the long-awaited Resident Evil Village.
A very supernatural delivery
One of the great novelties of this installment of the Capcom saga is that it will bet much more on the presence of supernatural elements such as witches and werewolves. This is something that began to be seen in Resident Evil VII, but here it will be deepened.
Similarly, another of the changes that we will see within the game is that Capcom bet to find the balance between the terror of the previous installment and the action of the previous games. We can also see the presence of classic elements from other games such as a vendor that will help us to stock up with ammunition and supplies at certain points in the game.
The mercenary mode is also back and it will do so with some new features that will surely be well received by fans of the game that is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
