Diablo has posted a new entry on your blog to reveal that Diablo’s alpha technique has been a success. Players who were lucky enough to be chosen to test the game have shared their opinions with Blizzard, and its developers took note. In the blog we can see the visual changes and other improvements that have been made in the past month.
The ones that have attracted the most attention are the better graphics, but the truth is that the interface improvements and giving more configuration options sound much better. Especially the inventory space that has been greatly increased from a single bag to three.
Graphical and interface improvements
An important change occurred in the effect of the magician’s blizzard, in the shared gif you can see a great difference between one and the other. Not only does the snow fall in larger chunks, but now it falls perpendicularly instead of the previous one that fell at a right angle. It is a small change but the truth is that it looks better.
Other freeze effects have received less noticeable visual enhancements. The same for the icon of mana, life and other small images that have been modified a bit to better distinguish the details.
When we go to accessibility we see that now we can activate an option for the gold to be collected automatically, activate the largest fonts for easy reading and a larger interface on PC. Some players mentioned that on large monitors it was difficult to read and see icons, so there will be rescaling and interface on PC as well.
Lastly, there will also be new visual settings for the map, the option to remove the names of the objects and remove the comparison window. So in general there will be more options so that we can activate or deactivate visual elements of the interface.
Diablo II Resurrected will be released on September 23 and will have a closed beta phase and an open beta phase in August. They can read the Blizzard blog post following this link.
