Sony and Psyonix they have announced Today Ratchet & Clank will have their own themed skins in Rocket League starting tomorrow. In fact, starting tomorrow there is an update for everyone, but one that will be more important on Sony consoles due to the nature of the content.
The first and most striking thing is that Ratchet & Clank will be present in the game with four themed cars from the saga. The content will be exclusive to Sony consoles and we can also download it for free from tomorrow until January.

It is worth noting that even players from other platforms will see our car as a standard one, so the skin is only visible to us and other PlayStation users. A measure that they have most likely taken to prevent file theft and its implementation on other consoles such as PC.
In addition to the four Ratchet & Clank cars, the new update will allow PlayStation 5 players to play at 120 FPS. There will be two game modes, performance and fidelity, and we must choose the first to reach the desired amount of images per second.
The fidelity mode will run the game at 4K and 60 FPS with HDR and will require an HDMI 2.0 cable or better. If the TV is 1080, the game will run at 1080p but rescaled to 4K (it will look better). Meanwhile, in performance it will run at 2688x1512p (70% resolution over 4K) and 120 FPS, although you will need an HDMI 2.1 cable.
The update for Rocket League is coming tomorrow and will also bring new cars to the rest of the platforms, as well as new offers in the store.
