Following the announcement of its anime adaptation, many questions remained regarding the production of RPG Fudosan.
Chiyo Kenmotsu’s original work, also known as RPG Real Estate, It was announced for its adaptation to the anime from the end of February, without further details from its managers.
But this July 27 the official portal of the adaptation was released, with information about the staff of the work and its first promotional image.
RPG Fudosan will be directed by Tomoaki Koshida (Ikebukuro West Gate Park) as director of the adaptation at animation studio Doga Kobo. Yoshiko Nakamura (Maōjō from Oyasumi) is in charge of series composition and Motohiro Taniguchi (Akkun to Kanojo) is the character designer.
The history of this work is as follows:
The story begins 15 years after the demon king was defeated and the world became peaceful. Kotone, who graduated from school and became a magician, asked the kingdom-affiliated RPG Real Estate to find a new home. In reality, RPG Real Estate was Kotone’s workplace, and together with Fa, a demihuman, Priest Rufuria, and Private Rakira, they help support new home searches for clients with various circumstances.
RPG Fudosan is a 4koma that has been serialized since 2018 in the Manga Time Kirara Charat magazine of the Houbunsha publishing house, accumulating 3 compilation volumes so far, the last being released last April.
Kenmotsu has a long career within the manga industry, debuting in 2010 with Kaitai Shinsho Ø, having been an assistant to several mangakas in the past. With 10 works to his credit, RPG Fudosan will be his first adaptation to the world of anime.
