One new platformer and action in two dimensions will be released next month by Studio Thunderhorse. This is the studio’s first game and they are supported by Humble Games, Humble Store owners who have been in the industry for several years supporting independent projects.
Flynn: Son of Crimson will also be released on PlayStation, Xbox One and Switch, so only mobile players will not be able to try this title that one of the indies of the month points to.
Home protection
Flynn will begin his adventure in Rosantica, the island where he was born and trained to protect the weak from The Calamity. That’s why he has access to a weapon that can be acquired in three different forms, sword, ax and claw, and elemental magic that complement a deadly fighting style.
The game will feature several interconnected levels, enemies, and final bosses, making it an adventure focused entirely on a main campaign. The story will always revolve around Flynn who must defeat The Calamity always relying on the weapon he received as an inheritance.
From Thunderhorse they comment that the story revolves around the lineage and the inheritance of a responsibility acquired thousands of years ago. It’s definitely an interesting game and we’ll have to see how it fares when it releases.
Flynn: Son of Crimson will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on September 15.
