Telltale Games has announced in collaboration with LCG Entertainment 'The Wolf Among Us 2', title canceled after the closure of the developer last year. The group also works with a group of former employees of the company, who have trained AdHoc Studio, who will focus on co-development in the interactive narrative of this sequel.
It was last August when LCG Entertainment proceeded to purchase Telltale Games with the intention of reviving its videogame catalog, as well as developing new titles based on its popular licenses. In this way, the continuation of 'The Wolf Among Us' is the first beneficiary of the business.
It has been at the gala The Game Awards 2019 where you could see the first trailer of the work, which will be directed again by Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart along with the writer Pierre Shorette. Award-winning voice actors are also returning, Adam Harrington as Bigby Wolf and Erin Yvette as Snow White, and composer Jared Emerson-Johnson. Finally, the former vice president of engineering of Telltale Game, Zac Litton, has joined the project.
Pierre Shorette, commercial director of AdHoc Studio, explained that "When the opportunity arose, it was an easy decision for us. Developing The Wolf Among Us was my first project in Telltale and the beginning of a creative partnership with Nick and Dennis, so obviously we are excited to explore the Fables universe further."The release of 'The Wolf Among Us 2' is expected on consoles and PCs on a date yet to be determined.
