God of War Ragnarok is supposed to be released sometime in 2022, but we probably won’t get an official release date announcement until the exclusive Horizon Forbidden West hits stores in February. And even then, we hope Sony will give it at least a few more months. Assuming it’s not delayed, educated guesswork would put Ragnarok into the second half of next year, so this potential “leak” is already causing astonishment.
As reported by PlayStation Game Size, PlayStation’s own database has God of War Ragnarok for a September 30, 2022 release date. It sounds perfectly plausible, but it must be emphasized that this could easily be a placeholder. Still, September 30 is Friday, so it aligns with typical AAA pitching habits.
